Feldjäger zu fuss, Prussia 1750
This unit was created in 1744 as the Korps Feldjäger zu Fuss (Trappers), with two companies under the command of Major de Chasot.
During the War of Austrian Succession, the unit served against the Austrians. After the war, the unit was deployed in detachments located at border crossings.
During the Seven Years War, the unit was known as Jäger-Korps zu Fuss, participating in the Battles of Breslau, Leuthen and Hochkirch.
On 10th October 1760, the unit was decimated by the Russians in Charlotteburg.
