Carlos María de Borbón y Austria, España 1948-1909 

Carlos Maria de Borbom y Austria,  was pretender to the Spain royal crow (Carlos VII de España), was pretender to the France royal crow (Carlos XI de Francia) and was pretended to the Navarra Royal Crow (Carlos IV de Navarra) (1887-1909).

In 1868 the Isabel II government was started a crisis regime, Carlos after the abdication of his father started a political movement becoming the dynasty pretender to the Spanish throne. In April 1869 he became head of the Carlist party, organizing its structure to exist in the elections of 1871 obtained 50 congress seats.

In 1872 the Carlist led by Charles VII abandoned the political track and caused the Third Carlist War, in May of that year General Domingo Moriones attacked their camp in Oroquieta so he had to flee to France the following year he organized his army again taking positions throughout the Basque Country and Navarra, he was finally defeated in 1876 and went into exile.

He died 1909 in Varese, his remains rest in the cathedral of Trieste, was replaced as head of the carlista dynasty by his son Jaime.
