UNL-35

During the Spanish Civil War, Republican Forces build a number of different armored vehicles throughout the war. The naval factory  Union Naval de Levante (Secret Factory Nr. 22) build, under soviet guidance, what was considered to be one of the best armored trucks of the war, the UNL-35. These vehicles were based on the Soviet ZiS-5 truck, and were fabricated between early 1937 and March 1939 at a rate of no more than five per month. Also, based on other chassis, such as Ford model 817T, around 120 UNL-35s were manufactured.
